Catalog Note:
This set of Hans Wegner chairs came directly from the Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. This building was designed by architect Hugh Stubbins (who was invited to teach at Harvard by Walter Gropius). The photographs shown are mostly from 1965, shortly after the building completed construction.
