On 1 to 10 quality scale, This Megalodon Tooth is around a 7.5. A lot of the serrations were worn down and this tooth was more than likely a natural shed. Most all of the enamel is present. The Giant Shark was probably bitting down on something very hard, like a whale vertebrae when the tooth fell loose because their are nicks on one side of the tooth like notches on a pistol grip. This big Meg was a 48 Footer. For every inch of tooth their was 10 feet of Shark!
