Description
A wonderful Russian champleve silver cane. The silver and enamel tau handle is 1 3/4" high, 3 1/3" long and 2/3" in diameter. It is wonderfully decorated in the raised enamel champleve decorative technique in colors of blue, green red, and white with a very pleasing result. There are worn makers marks as well as a worn Moscow City mark. The shaft is snakewood with a 3/4" brass ferrule. The overall length is 35 1/4" and the condition is very good. It is ca 1910, and it is a handsome example of the kind. Estimate: $1800-$2800.
