Description
A Bolivia Mahogany Bargueno cabinet with sterling silver overlay. The repousse features floral motifs and a coat of arms. There is a hidden compartment in the central drawer with the coat of arms. The cabinet also comes with a carved wood and silver mounted statue of St. George battling the dragon.
Dimensions are: 31 inches tall X 18 inches wide X 11 inches deep, 78.74 cm X 45.72 cm X 27.94 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition. One of the silver nails is missing from the left side of the cabinet. The silver overlay is pulling from a few of the seams and corners. St. George is missing part of his hands and is no longer able to hold his shield and sword.
Provenance: From a private collection in Bonita, CA .
