Item Details

Description

Beautiful hard-rubber napkin ring inlaid with a silver plate and two silver stars. According to the accompanying note, this piece was "made on board the first rebel ship captured by us at the start of the Revolution."

Napkin ring measures ~2 1/2 x 2 inches. Note and relic are housed in a handsome wood box with velvet lining.
