n Exquisite Pair of 19th Century Ormolu-Mounted Sevres Urns. These imposing French hand-painted porcelain urns have gilt bronze mounts; the central reliefs depict hand-painted outdoor scenes after Fragonard, "Blindman's Bluff" and "The See-Saw". Each is signed lower right 'A. Maglin.' The reverse sides feature idyllic country landscapes. Pink ground with a series of subdued gilt floral designs near the neck, base and body. Gilt bronze mounts with acanthus and figural maiden heads flank each end. Interlaced "L" marks along inner edge of each urn at the top and underside, produced in the fourth quarter of 19th Century, colloquially Sevres. 40lbsMeasures Approx., H 33.75 in. x W 17.5 in. x D 13.5 in.
