First Edition First Printing (only 1500 copies published ,authors first book)McClure Press of Verona VA. 174pp, Lt.Col.Nugent Courvoisie a.k.a. Boo was a unique and inspiring Commandant of Cadets in the 1960s and 1970s. His repoir with them was one of friend and severe disciplinarian. The rewards of gaining his respect as a Cadet were the goal. Conroy was one of those cadets and this is his tale. Pat Conroy signed the book to me at "New York Is Book Country" and he was then surprised to see the 1st ed and 1st printing in original DJ with price intact. Also laid inside the book are 11 letters to Alumni signed by the Boo. Also a 3 page personal letter to an Alumni also signed by Boo. A very unique and desireable copy of this rare book.
