Chinese Ming era Fahua standing Buddha, Ming Dynasty (16th/17th c.), mounted as a lamp, earthenware glazed in blues and yellow, depicted in flowing robes, one hand holding a cup, the other in varada mudra, standing on a lotus base, mounted to bronze stand, 14"h x 5"dia (pottery), 27"h (total)

Good, not drilled, glaze flakes and loss to hair round top of head and back near lamp stem, scattered firing imperfections, not examined out of mount **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
