AN INCREDIBLE & GREAT ART MUGHAL / PERISAN WARRIOR HORSE MASK.
. THE MASK HAS ARABIC INSCRIPTION HAND ENGRAVED OF 2 FLYING HORSES.
Province: Mughal / Persian.
Made: Made of hand-forged steel, hand hammered and hand chiseled.
Central panel: The center panel has trophy shape comprising of Arabic /Islamic pious calligraphy from KORAN
Lower part of horse facemask has been engraved with hand of 2 flying horse figures.
The horse helmet has brass decoration all over with on fine hand engraving of flower motifs & entire surface of helmet is decorated with hand engraved flower motifs.
An unbelievable fine artisanship on the horse facemask of Islamic quality art.
Horse face masks helmet are well documented in war books and have illustration on armor web sites.
It measures about 22." high.
Has heavy cloth cushion on back & has cotton belts to hold at horse face.
This makes this horse mask adding dramatic detailing to this incredible piece of armor.
