Spanish Colonial, Mexico, Carved Cedar Chest
18th Century
A hand-carved cedar round-top wood trunk, with original hand-forged hardware, and dovetail construction. Legs at base not attached.
38 1/2 x 25 1/2 x 46 3/4 in. (97.79 x 64.77 x 118.75 cm.)
The Collection of Holler and Saunders
Condition
In excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, some wear to the edges. All hardware appears original. Back left lower molding lacking.
