Okes, for Humphrey Mosley, 1638.

⁂ Very good copy of this unauthorised and anonymous translation of Historia vitae et mortis, which appeared two months before William Rawley's authorised version, whose foreword said of this translation "lame, and defective, in the whole". It includes Bacon's advice on food and diet.
