Description
Lot of 6 Roman bronze and silver coins. Lot includes a bronze As of Trajan, (AD 98 - 117), a 29 mm bronze of Geta Caesar, (AD 198 - 209) from Amisos in Pontus, a silver Denarius of Elagabalus, (AD 218 - 222), a sestertius of Maximus Caesar, (AD 235 - 238), an Antoninianus of Valerian I, (AD 253 - 260) featuring Vulcan within a shrine and last a third century Roman provincial bronze. A nice mixed group! Ex collection of Nick Jamgochian, (1912-1993), acquired in the 1930’s.
