First-half 19th Century
With blue underglaze crowned "N" mark
The polychrome painted porcelain urn with a domed lid surmounted by a putti over a tall, cylindrical body decorated with figural masks, scrolling foliage, and drapery festoons centering a processional frieze of high-relief dancing putto
30" H x 10.5" Dia.
Condition
Overall good condition with shelf wear, scuffs, scratches, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. Issues and repairs include, but are not limited to: rubbed wear to surface decoration; one putto with break to arm; scattered repairs to putti throughout, primarily to hands and arms.
