Antiquities.- Rings.- Gorlaeus (Abraham) Dactyliotheca, seu annulorum sigillarium quorum apud priscos tam Graecos quam Romanos usus, first edition, engraved architectural title, portrait and 138 plates, water-stained, some spotting, lightly browned, contemporary vellum, spine with later gilt, stamped black floral motifs and a green morocco label, some staining, [Sinkankas 2740], small 4to, [?Delft, see end of dedication], no printer, [1601].

⁂ The first edition is rare at auction. The author's own collection of Greek and Roman intaglio rings and gemstones, which was sold following his death to Henry, Prince of Wales in 1609.
