Item Details

Description

A 9ct gold opal and sapphire brooch, and pearl set bar brooch, the opal and sapphire cluster with brooch and pendant fittings, hallmarked for Sheffield 1995, together with a safety pin bar brooch centred with bouton pearl (untested) and with swivel hook safety chain, first length 30mm. £150-£180------For more information, additional images and to bid on this lot please go to the auctioneers website, www.dnw.co.uk

Condition

First: The opals with have a fair play of colour and the sapphires are a dark greenish-blue hue, the brooch pin is missing the part of catch fitting.
Second: the pearl has a fair lustre, is slightly misshapen with light surface blemishing and greenish overtones.
