Description

A late Victorian/Edwardian gold mounted peridot and seed pearl pendant/brooch, of openwork scrolling design, centred with a hexagonal step-cut peridot and suspending a pear-shaped peridot drop below, with brooch and pendant fittings, stamped â€˜15CTâ€™, to a later chain, pendant length 46mm. £240-£340------For more information, additional images and to bid on this lot please go to the auctioneers website, www.dnw.co.uk

Condition

The peridots are well matched and of a bright green hue, the seed pearls are all present with light surface blemishing, one or more pearls are possibly replacements, adhesive visible to at least two pearls, general light surface wear to the mount and settings,chain length approximately 44cm, gross weight 9.8gm.
