1927 and 1928 date marks, retailed Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia; partial set including teapot, hot water kettle-on-stand, creamer, sugar and wastebowl, monogrammed; kettle-on-stand is 13 1/4 in. H overall, 81.85 ozt. From the family and descendents of Charles Potts Talbot (1807-1884) and Harriet Rogers Talbot, of Billerica and Lowell, Massachusetts. Talbot was the founder of C.P. Talbot and Company and, with his brother Thomas, co-founder of the Talbot Mills in North Billerica. Thomas Talbot would later serve as the 31st Governor of Massachusetts

Teapot is 1 3/8 pint capacity, A2412/16, good condition. Creamer is 3/8 pint capacity, small shallow dent on one side. Sugar is A2413/16, good condition. Wastebowl is A2415, good condition. Kettle-on-stand is A2446/16, burner has 1924 date mark, 2 3/4 pint capacity, handle loose at the bolsters
