Bacon (Sir Francis) The Historie of the Raigne of King Henry the Seventh, engraved portrait frontispiece, inserted from another copy (cut out section with paper restoration and insertion to recto) and another small paper restoration, title within engraved architectural border, paper restoration to inner margin, and upper corner on verso, woodcut initials and head- and tail-pieces, ink annotations in an early hand, light browning and damp-staining, occasional spotting, endpapers renewed, near contemporary reverse calf, sympathetically rebacked, lacking original clasps, lower cover with abrasion mark, corners rubbed, [Gibson 116a, STC 1159], 8vo, for Matthew Lownes and William Barret, 1622.
