Description
One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies cast & assembled tanzanite and diamond pendant with chain. The pendant features a tanzanite set within an elaborate diamond lattice gallery, completed by a diamond set bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length 18KT white gold designer style chain, terminating in a lobster claw clasp. Bright polish finish with yellow gold accents and milgrain detailing. Trademark is UGG. Identified with markings of "18K 750". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set pear modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 33.65 x 21.14 x 13.58mm, exact weight 69.66ct., type I Clarity is eye clean, dark, moderately strong, blue-violet color, (GIA BV), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Gemological Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report #6167000255.Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Thirty-Four bezel and prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 3.00 - 2.20 x 1.56mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 34 Stones = 2.20 ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-1 to SI-1. Color: G - I One Hundred Ninety-Three bezel and prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.80 - 1.40 x 0.96mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 193 Stones = 2.97ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-1 to SI-1. Color: G - I One prong set baguette cut (tapered) diamond, measuring 4.70 x 2.10 x 1.47mm (depth est.) approximate weight of 0.13ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-1. Color: G. Total Weight of Colored Stones 69.66ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 5.30 ct. Total Weight of Pendant With Chain 49.12 grams. AIG Appraised.
