Folk Art relief carved and painted scene depicting a skein of Canada geese flying over a body of water during twilight

Acquired directly from the artist by Robert Gapinski at Rocky's Tavern, Des Plaines, Illinois, 1930s
Thence by descent to Gapinksi's daughter Kathy Kellar, Evanston, Illinois

Catalog Note:
Indian Bill was an itinerant worker and the printed provenance is affixed to the verso.
Condition
Laminate construction intact. Light surface dirt overall with handling marks and scratches. Small burn mark upper left. Splits visually evident with a split in lower-left quadrant most evident into side of framing area. Good condition.
