He participate in the WWII. Probably was in concetration camp (but Im not sure - cant find enough information). Most of his etchings dedicated to holocaust tragedy and WWII. He died between 1975-1976.
He made illustrations to book "Fire" Henry Barbus but it wasn't approved but soviaet painters association. His painter's manner was unofficial in USSR and was banned. He made series of portraits in Modigliani style and few in official soviet realistic style.
He was a member of Association of ukrainian revolution art together with such painters as O. Bogomazov, D. Burliuk, V, Yermilov, M. Gluschenko, M. Burachek Date/Period: 1964 Material: etching Dimension: 30 x 43 cm
