Pair of Chinese large polychrome enamel decorated porcelain jars with covers, late Qing/Republic period, each high-shouldered ovoid body painted in bright enamels with five leaf-form floral reserves with birds or butterflies amid flowering plants and trees issuing from fantastic rockwork, all above a jeweled lappet band at the recessed base, the short neck encircled by a classic scroll and ruyi-head bands on a green ground with stylized multi-petal blossoms, the low domical lids with complimentary decoration (some restoration to lids), 16''h
