Attributed to Virginia or West Virginia, signed and dated on the plow "Oliver '40" (1940). Farmer, plow and two horses on a mixed wood base. Carved figures with original paint as well as found materials including cloth overalls, plastic reins, string manes, tin plowshare and cleverly used bark to represent plowed furrows. Minor wear. 11"h. 29"w. 10"d. From the collection of a Maryland Lady.
