TITLE/CONTENT OF MAP: 'South America'
Spanish and Portuguese South America divided into its colonial Viceroyalties of Rio de la Plata (also named as Tucuman), Peru, New Granada and Brazil, with Patagonia. Curiously, La Plata is marked to include Chile, and Brazil to include the Guianas.
The top image on the right hand side shows the entire map. To view a close up of the map showing the level of printed detail, please click on the bottom image on the right hand side. This map is folding hence the centrefold line may show on the image below
DATE PRINTED: 1830
IMAGE SIZE: Approx 63.5 x 53.5cm, 25 x 21 inches (Large); Please note that this is a folding map.
