CONDITIONS OF SALE
When bidding on any lot offered by The Antique Collective, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following Terms of the Sale. Any participation in the auction binds you to an agreement of these terms.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please make all condition inquiries beyond the descriptions given prior to the auction.
All of our auctions, unless specifically noted, will be ONLINE ONLY. However, auctions will be offered on multiple platforms for pre-bidding up until the start of the auction and then in real-time while the auction is occurring. THERE WILL BE NO FLOOR CROWD, however, the alternate bidding platforms, phone bidders, or absentee bids will display as a "FLOOR BID". All safety and social distancing precautions will be observed to protect the health of our staff and bidders.

A buyer's premium applies to all bidders, whether they are on the floor, bidding absentee or online. The buyer's premium includes the platform fee and the credit card payment fee.
By bidding on an item, you are entering into a binding legal contract. If you have not responded to our correspondence by the close of the TENTH day after the conclusion of the auction or made prior firm payment arrangements, we reserve the right to mark the item(s) as NO SALES, cancel the transaction, and report feedback as appropriate.
The property purchased at The Antique Collective is sold "AS IS" without any representations or warranties, express or implied, by The Antique Collective or its consignor(s) as to the merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or description of any property. Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to the client. No statement anywhere, oral or written, shall be deemed as such a guarantee, warranty or representation. The Antique Collective shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The buyer should assume all items are not free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. It shall be the bidder's responsibility, whether present or absentee, to determine the condition of each item. All prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine any property in which they are interested in before the auction takes place. Preview may be scheduled with our office to take place at our office and gallery.
The Antique Collective does not accept PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. We may also invoice through Square. We reserve the right to accept money orders, cash, and bank or certified check as acceptable forms of payment at our discretion for pick-up bidders ONLY.
The Antique Collective provides packing & shipping (at buyer's expense) with our in-house staff on all items we deem as suitable for shipping, as a courtesy service to our customers.
It is the bidder's responsibility to take shipping costs into consideration when bidding on these items. We charge the actual cost of your label plus a $10 handling fee per box. Multiple purchases will be packaged together as we feel is appropriate and reasonable to ship safely.
Shipping methods may include FedEx, UPS, USPS or whatever method is best. The Antique Collective cannot be responsible for loss or damage to the items during shipping.
Large items, such as furniture, large signs, neon, etc, will exclusively be FOR PICK-UP ONLY or delivery by staff of The Antique Collective, for private courier delivery as selected by the winning bidder.
The buyer is free to contact any shipping company they wish, as the shipment is not limited to the agents provided by The Antique Collective.
Those local buyers or those purchasing items marked PICK-UP ONLY will schedule their pick-up through our scheduling service after their invoice is paid in full.
Ohio law requires us to collect tax on their behalf on all items sold from our location unless the property is purchased for resale under a proper state-issued resale number, or other legal exemption. Our sales tax rate is 7%.
We ask those purchasing for resale to submit their tax-exempt and business information when registering to bid or by contacting email@example.com prior to the start of the sale.
If you have not contacted The Antique Collective LLC to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
